I was thinking that I should round up a collection of tips on “How to choose better Passwords”. And this post is not that round up & I won’t create that kind of a post. There’s a reason for that. Now I know that my collection of tips are not good enough to put together as a post.

Everything happened while I wandering on where there are pits made of DIGGing.It’s Digg.com where I found a great article about Passwords  which taught me how should I choose a better password. There were lots of ‘food for thought’ for me. It’s a great resource for a tech enthusiast. There are lot’s of technical stuff on “passwords” on the article itself & on comments.

This article is a great one for guys who are “wanna be hackers” (like me) , GNU/Linux enthusiasts (Like me), Hardcore windows users & of course for geeks to be geekier :) .

Firefox Extensions worth a look.

After my loooong list of Firefox extensions I found some more to share with you. I thought it would be useful for you too .So let’s check’em out.

First I got an extension which replaces two extensions which I’ve mentioned in
my earlier post.

Can you remember ‘Tiny menu’ & ‘Menu editor’?

Tiny menu- packing all menu bar options in to one Menu

Menu editor- cut off all those useless stuff from menus & menu
options

Personal menu will replace these too [not very handy at Menu editors
job, but simple].Just give it a try.

OR

Just Paste this to userChrome & edit the code as you like to cut off the menu options you HATE.

Stylish is an extension which works like ‘Greasemonkey’.Userstyles.org has a lot of scripts for
you like userscripts.org for
Greasemonkey.

Video Downloader

this is the description for Video downloader from it’s creators.

Booyaka 619

Yesterday I found that I got more hits. Kottu.org is the owner of the majority of the hits in to my blog. I guess people were eager to read my post named kottu.org. It wasn’t a crafty trick to pull Kottu people in,honestly. I just put my ideas & what have I done ; I didn’t expect that much quick reaction from kottu. However thanx Kottu – Indi.

When I check my blogs stats page last night I found a hilarious search term some one used to find my blog. “buddhika buddhika 619 hey”. As I’m a big fan of wrestling I found what does it mean, It doesn’t mean BUD (Buddhika Siddhisena) :-) or any other Buddhika. Someone has misunderstood REY Mysterios entrance theme “Booyaka Booyaka 619″. It was real fun when I show it to CJ. Believe me I’m still laughing.

I know it’s so difficult to find the entry tracks of the WWE superstars. Once I tried to find Mysterios entry track (He’s my best). After Googling some useless search terms, at last I found THIS site which is the best I found. But you won’t find ‘Booyaka 619′ there, there’s only the old entry track of mysty “who’s that jumping out the sky”. But you may find your favorite there….don’t read the rest…just go THERE.

Tomorrow I won’t post to my blog as I have to attend to the aptitude test for BIT@UOM (Bachelor of Information Technology at University of Moratuwa). Wish me luck ;-) .

However I’m using the last 12 hours of my internet connection, coz I have to quit evrything to get ready for A/L 2007 :oops: . So I have to be careful of my surf time. I got only 12 out of 35 hrs for next 18 days of this month.

When I get more & more happy with my blog it’s very difficult to leave. More people come & make the departure more difficult. I’m so happy if some one get something useful from my blog. It’s the ultimate pleasure I have with my blog. I’m always trying to put some useful stuff in my blog.

13th October is a big day for me, coz I got 500th hit on my little blog :-D .

Delays!!!

It’s 12:16PM 10/5/2006 now & I heard still the results are not on. the news bulletin said that A/L results will be available by 12:30 this eve for schools around Colombo. It will be on the web later in the eve as the principals wanted the results before the NET. It seems a good thing coz students have to pay some extra bucks in order to check their results online. Good for communication centers + ISPs but the poor students & their parents (I’m not talking about the people who have easy Internet access )

But It’s clear that the affected portion is still affected coz it’ll surely take couple of days for results to reach rural schools as snail mail is still don’t use jet engines. Sometimes the commissioner will be so fair to send them by Email :lol: .
Authority is always trying new foolish illusions to cover their own a**e*. But it’s the time or them to realize that the rest of the world is not fools like them to be fooled.

Hu…Hoooooooo!! It’s hilarious. Poor commissioner has another problem & it will occur a delay of A/L results *until 6:30 PM today. (Now the time is exactly 4:00PM)
news bulletin at 3:55 said that the commissioner has declared that the A/L results would be delayed *until 6:30 PM this eve due to an “electric circuit breakdown” in DOE.
It’s really strange, why is it always the DOE & why does it happen in this kind of special event?.
It must be the bad time of the commissioner or may be the bad brand name of his watch :lol: .

*Here this doesn’t mean what it does in the Dictionary :lol:
Is it possible another delay before I post this (after 10:00PM) ?
Why not? we’re dealing with the DOE-SL Huh! :lol:

Yeah, the thing is getting seriously hilarious. Now the time is exactly 7:25PM. CJ called me & said that the results won’t be available *until 10:00PM.This time, another reason – The poor computers. I think the computer is some outdated equipment for the DOESL. The computer engineers must think about some substitute for the computer ,DOE is not the NASA to use those damn stupid computers. :lol: :lol: :lol:
I think this this post will be so long, but I wish not to happen such thing.
By the by now I believe there are some real problems. If not they won’t do these postponing…they know It’s hell too much.

Huh! the news telecast at 10:00PM said that the results would be on the DOE official web site by 10:30. Now the time is 11:56 & still it isn’t there.
What can you say……….?
